See recorded quantities change as goods arrive and bills are confirmed.

One product, measured in pieces. Start with 8 recorded, receive 12 more, then confirm a bill for 2.
The starting record is 8 pieces. Receiving 12 and saving the operation brings the recorded quantity to 20.
A confirmed bill for 2 pieces reduces that recorded quantity to 18. A draft still needs confirmation.
Illustrative result: 8 + 12 − 2 = 18 pieces recorded. These numbers do not verify the goods physically on the shelf.
02 / Keep the record useful
The app follows the quantities entered. Shelf counts and discrepancies still need your attention.
Confirmed sales deduct from the recorded amount. If more is sold than recorded, the stored figure stops at zero; the difference still needs checking.
Zero in the record can still hide a mismatch. Check the difference against your shelves.
An unknown quantity stays unknown when you sell. Receiving into an unknown record starts the calculation at zero—it does not discover the goods already on the shelf.
Enter a checked starting quantity when you need a meaningful stock record.
03 / For the people doing the work
Managers and admins can manage products and stock. Staff can bill within their role without receiving full stock access. Business reports are for the admin.
Bring the product prices and quantities you have checked. Unknown stock can remain unrecorded; it should not be mistaken for a counted zero.
This page covers receiving and sale-linked recorded quantities. Discuss your wider inventory needs, access and setup with the team.
